ConfirmU is a B2B and B2B2C startup that enables lenders to assess the creditworthiness of first-time borrowers using a 3-minute game and a credit score derived from psychometric data. Due to the reliance on historical payment information for credit risk assessment, three billion people cannot obtain the financial services they seek. This means that a customer cannot receive credit unless they have previously obtained it. Confirm U has created a hybrid model that incorporates the factors most likely to predict financial conscientiousness. Through focus groups and external testing, high-performing variables were chosen to form the basis of an expert credit risk model. This methodology has been established and is currently being used to evaluate consumer and SME risk. The statistics have been and will continue to be compared with payment performance datasets.
